Writing your way to happiness

Some researchers believe that by writing and then editing our own stories, we can change our perceptions of ourselves and identify obstacles that stand in the way of better health.

Fred says: “My perception is that writing down a personal issue on paper or in your computer creates new links in your brain. As a result the meaning of the issue will change a little. Reading back your text multiple time creates even better understanding of it and possibly you will finetune it.
The same principle applies to when you speak out yourself towards an experienced listener as hearing yourself has a similar impact.”
